Biography
Loren R. Douglass is an author and proven Global Business Executive who has delivered billions in value through transformational leadership at Fortune 500 enterprises including AIG, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and General Electric. As Leader of AIG’s Global Transformation Program, he delivered $1B in annual cost reductions while managing $300M+ portfolios and spearheading complex institutional transitions. He spearheaded the comprehensive platform evaluation that facilitated AIG’s 2022 spin-off of AIG Life and Retirement into Corebridge Financial (NYSE: CRBG). Prior to AIG, Loren managed a $300 Million-plus global business portfolio of Commercial, Investment Banking, and Private Equity Clients as Managing Director in BNY Mellon’s Investment Services division. Prior executive assignments include General Electric, Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs. Loren honed his advising and counseling skills through managerial stints at AT Kearney and Deloitte Consulting.
Currently, as Founder & CEO of the Harvey C. Russell Jr. Institute for International Business and Strategic Coalitions, he integrates decades of experience running and transforming complex organizations along with Artificial Intelligence into a new model for sustainable institutional power. As Author of Seize the Future! A specialist in transforming complex organizations and optimizing operational efficiency, Douglass brings 23 years of board experience, including 10 years of Audit Committee experience, across Johns Hopkins University, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Manhattan School of Music. His expertise spans business operations, international policy, strategic transformation, and institutional governance, with degrees from Johns Hopkins (Electrical Engineering), Wharton (MBA Finance), and SAIS (International Economics and International Law).
Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, The Economic Club of New York, and a 33rd Degree Prince Hall Mason, he connects rigorous process discipline with global strategy to create innovative pathways to success.
